HLC manufactures our new decks in their cutting-edge Spanish skateboard factory, where they produce some of the world’s finest skateboard decks alongside the new Triple 3 decks.
Why We Choose HLC
There’s only one way to decide which deck is best: ride it. So that’s exactly what we did. We ordered samples from world-leading manufacturers in Canada, Mexico, Europe and America and put them straight into our team’s hands.
Our riders put every deck through the same vigorous testing, spending hours at their local spots. They judged each deck on shape, pop, durability and feel, scoring them out of ten.
One deck stood above the rest. HLC won by a mile. Their decks popped like no other, delivered the perfect amount of flex, and offered an outstanding shape and concave. For testing, we chose popsicle mid-concave decks across the board.
The moment our team stepped onto the HLC decks, they sent us excited videos and voice messages.

They use cutting-edge technology to produce the perfect deck every time. CNC robots shape each board with precision, before individual pressing ensures consistent quality.
HLC cold-press every deck using 7-ply maple, creating boards that are strong, durable and consistent.
Skilled craftsmen then carefully shape and varnish each deck to complete the process.
HLC began when three brothers started designing and building decks in their garage. They launched their first skateboard label, Jart Skateboards, producing high-end decks and helping many European skaters take their careers to the next level. Their success with Jart, combined with a passion for building the perfect skate deck, led to the creation of HLC.
HLC operates from the Basque region of Spain, with an additional factory in America. They lead the European market and rank among the top three skateboard producers in the world. They manufacture decks for some of the world’s finest skateboard brands, including Plan B Skateboards, FLIP Skateboards, SK8MAFIA and SOVRN, as well as many others across 65 countries.
Sustainability Produced Decks
Sustainability matters deeply to us, from our organic T-shirts to our packaging. Fashion and skateboarding don’t need to cost the Earth. That’s why we work with HLC, a manufacturer that shares our commitment to creating products with minimal environmental impact.
HLC sources its wood exclusively from protected woodland governed by preservation laws, allowing natural regeneration rather than destruction. They invest in renewable energy, power their factories with solar panels, recycle all waste materials, and continue to work towards becoming a plastic-free company.
